Gainesville

Gainesville is located in one of the fastest growing areas of Northern Virginia. Complete with many amenities, shopping centers, schools and wonderful neighborhoods, why look anywhere else?

There has been major commercial and residential  development has taken place in the past 13 years including six large shopping centers. The intersection of I-66 and Lee Highway boasts the largest shopping center with stores such as Target Supercenter, Lowe’s, Best Buy, DSW, Walgreens and many other stores and restaurants.

Somerset Crossing has a Bank of America, Wells Fargo and other shops.

Staples, Ross, Wegman’s Food Markets, Michael’s and Harris Teeter are close to US-15.

        

Plans for an upscale shopping center and move theater at the intersection of Linton Hall Road and Wellington Road are underway. The Promenade at Virginia Gateway is being developed including BJ’s Warehouse and Regal Theaters.

The community is served by two middle schools, three elementary schools and two high schools

                       

      

There are four golf courses in the area; Stonewall Golf Club, Virginia Oaks Golf Club, Heritage Hunt Golf and Country Club, and the world renowned Robert Trent Jones Golf Club (host of the Ryder Cup in 1994, 1996, 2000 and 2005).
