Oakton is home of the Oak Marr Rec Center which offers a heated Olympic-sized indoor pool with spa, beach and wading area, plus a diving complex with one-meter and three-meter boards and a five-meter tower. Two racquetball courts - one with walleyball capacity, Fitness Center. A new two-story 5,500 square foot fitness center with state of the art fitness equipment. Adjoining the Rec Center is the Oak Marr Golf Complex
The Oak Marr Golf Course, acclaimed as one of the finest teaching facilities and the largest lighted short game practice area in Northern Virginia, includes not only the 9-hole par three golf course but also a lighted 78 station driving range with target greens and covered, heated tees. Private and group lessons are available year round. In addition, clinics, special events and an active junior program are offered. Park attractions right next door include a large indoor recreation center and miniature golf course.
Established in 1924, Army Navy Country Club is a private, member-owned recreation facility. The Club draws its membership primarily from Active Duty and Retired commissioned U.S. Military Officers and Warrant Officers. These officers represent all services and range in rank from Second Lieutenant and Ensign to General and Admiral. ANCC is also home to a number of civilian members many of whom have served in our nation's government.
In accordance with the ANCC mission statement, ANCC is to "...provide, at moderate expense, recreational facilities at, or near, the National Capital for, and to promote social intercourse among those citizens, military and civilian, who are bound together by the fraternal and patriotic spirit of serving the best interests and efficiency of the National Defense."
