At the beginning of each year we budget to help local charities & schools. Here are a couple of our favorite charities. 

OUR NEIGHBOR'S CHILD 

This exemplary organization was started right here in the Centreville community and provides holiday gifts to less fortunate children in western Fairfax County. They make a huge difference in the lives of 100's of families in our community. According to their website, whether you have a little or a lot of time to give - they have just the opportunity for you! In addition, while most gifts are collected at area churches, schools and businesses, they do need monetary donations as well to fill gift requests. ALL donations from the public go toward the purchase of gifts of toys or clothing for a child in need. WESTERN FAIRFAX CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES 

This group was formed in 1987 to, quoting from the web site, "address the needs of those experiencing difficulties in sustaining a self-supporting quality of life, believing in the inherent dignity of each person. To help families and individuals achieve the goal of self-sufficiency. To express God's love and to exemplify the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ."
The group provides emergency help for persons living in the Centreville, Chantilly, Clifton, Fairfax Station, and Fairfax (in the 22033 zip-code) areas.
